Stillwater Artisanal decided to get together with Hudson Valley Brewery and the result of Hopvine Bling was the result. This sour Berliner Weisse comes in with an alcohol content of 5% ABV and is dry-hopped as well as fermented with Sauvignon Blanc Grapes. So how did this one play out for me?
The beer itself came together nicely in its characteristics providing almost a nice wine feel. The grapes were able to provide a nice feature in the flavor and the smoothness of it made it a very easy beer to down. Again it is a Berliner Weisse, so the sour also comes through but it wasn’t overly sour and the body was light with the texture being somewhat dry. In all the beer was a nice one to enjoy which lead me to an overall rating of 85 with this one. See more if my thoughts on this one by also checking out my video here on YouTube!
Cheers!
